PESHAWAR, 8 November: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has announced public holiday on Monday in connection with the birth anniversary of national poet Dr. Allama Muhammad Iqbal. An official notification issued here said there will be a public holiday all over the province. All education institutions and government offices will closed on November 9.

The provincial government made this announcement after the ruling party (PTI’s) chief Imran Khan requested the provincial chief minister Pervez Khattak to declare Iqbal Day as public holiday.
