PESHAWAR, 26 November: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has set up a 17-member task force for controlling the spread of diabetes in the province and its treatment.

According to a notification issued by the Health Department on Friday, the task force will devise strategy for identifying resources to control diabetes and utilising these resources for the purpose.

To pursue its goal of diabetes-free KP, the task force will also organise different programmes in collaboration with other national and international organisations.
