PESHAWAR, 2 December: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has launched transmission of its first web TV channel.
The purpose of launching the web TV is to show performance of the provincial government to the people and get their feedback. The web TV named Badloon (change) was inaugurated by Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak at the Information Department on Tuesday.
Secretary Information Abid Majeed while briefing the chief minister about the web TV said it will perform the role of a bridge between the provincial government and people. He said the queries of the people will also be addressed through the web TV. He said the test transmission will be made initially for two months which will be extended later.
Besides live TV transmission, the web TV will also show programmes to promote culture and tourism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
