PESHAWAR, 23 November: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has released Rs6.55 billion for development schemes in neighbourhood and villages councils.

According to a statement of the provincial Finance Ministry, these funds have been released for uplift work in 3,075 neighbourhood and village councils of KP. The statement said every district has got its own share in the uplift funds. It said Peshawar district will get Rs700 million, Nowshera will get Rs302 million and Abbottabad will get Rs33 million.
