BARA, 07 May: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Iqbal Zafar Jhagra has announced to construct a sports complex in Maidan area of the scenic Tirah valley of Khyber Agency.

He was addressing the concluding ceremony of the first ever mega sports event – Tirah Sports Festival, which continued for one week in Warsak area of Maidan.

The governor said the Tirah Sports Festival will be made a regular feature in sport calendar and conducted annually.

He also inaugurated three other projects worth more than Rs400 million in Tirah.

He inaugurated the D-type hospital at Tirah Bagh Maidan at a cost of Rs231 million besides inaugurating a government high school for boys in Warsak, Tirah Maidan. He also performed the ground breaking of construction of building of tehsil headquarters of the agency in Maidan.
