PESHAWAR, 21 May: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan has said foreign spy agencies had been active in Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) like other parts of the country.

Talking to media persons after attending funeral prayers of a slain police officer in Peshawar yesterday, the governor said time has come to avenge the killings of law enforcement personnel. He said Operation Zarb-e-Azb has been continuing successfully and the militants have been weakened after important arrests during the last few months.

KP Inspector General Police Nasir Durrani said on the occasion that the target killing of police officers cannot deter the resolve of police force against fighting militancy. He said all resources will be utilised for eliminating terrorism.
