PESHAWAR, May 8: The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwaha approved more than 5,000 vacancies.
An official statement says Finance Minister Siraj-ul-Haq chaired a meeting about the upcoming budget in the provincial capital Peshawar. The meeting participants analyzed the performance of various departments.
The meeting was told that in the upcoming budget, there would be 297 vacancies in health sector, 1,700 posts in education sector, 800 positions in jails, and 65 posts in the population welfare department.
About 462 vacancies would be created in finance department, 75 in agriculture department and 79 vacancies in local government department.
