JAMRUD, 18 October: Office bearers of Fata Political Alliance on Wednesday demanded of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to hold an All Parties Conference on Fata Reforms.
The demand was made by president of the alliance Sardar Khan while talking to reporters here. He said that the KP government was a party and main stakeholder in the reforms process.
He asked the provincial government to convince the federal government to abolish Frontier Crimes Regualtion from Fata and merge the area in the province.
He said that any decision sans merger and abolition of FCR would not be accepted, adding that tribal people were fed up to live a life like slave. He demanded of the government to give their due constitutional rights and bring Fata into mainstream.
