PESHAWAR, 1 September: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has banned the sale of anti-tuberculosis drugs without the prescription of a qualified doctor.

A notification of the Health Department on Wednesday said the sale and purchase of anti-tuberculosis drugs without the doctor’s prescription is on the rise due to which many complications are reported in the patients and the bacterial disease is spreading with a rapid pace.
