MARDAN, 2 December: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has started distribution of Insaf Cards among destitute people in Mardan.

A ceremony in this regard was organised at Mardan House on Thursday. Provincial Education Minister Atif Khan said on the occasion that Insaf Cards will be given to 130,000 deserving people in Mardan under the Sehat Sahoolat Programme of the provincial government. He said the government will bear treatment expenses up to Rs540,000 per family in the government and private hospitals.

“It is the best possible assistance programme for people in need of medical assistance. The poor people who earn Rs15,000 per month cannot afford to spend Rs50,000 on their treatment. This programme will help such people,” he said.
