PESHAWAR, August 21: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to provide free education to students displaced from North Waziristan tribal region as a result of operation Zarb-e-Azb.
Vice chancellors of various universities and higher education authorities in the province met at the Regional Center, Peshawar on 20 August.
The meeting participants decided to offer free admissions to students of North Waziristan in all government-run colleges and universities.
In the first phase, students of F.A, F.Sc (higher secondary school certificate) would be given admissions. In the second phase, students of bachelor and master’s would be given admissions in higher education institutions.
