PESHAWAR: The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) on Friday notified posting of various officers in Industries, Commerce and Technical Education Department in merged districts.

The notification said that in addition to their own duties and as a stopgap arrangement the officers would look after/implement relevant laws in the newly merged districts.

Assistant Director Peshawar will look after District Khyber, Assistant Director Charsadda  will look after merged District Mohmand, Assistant Director Kohat will look after Merged District Kurram, Assistant Director Kohat will look after merged District Orakzai, Assistant Director Malakand will look after merged District Bajaur, Assistant Director Bannu will look after merged District North Waziristan, Assistant Director Dera Ismail Khan  will look after merged District South Waziristan and Assistant Directors of the Districts, concerned  will look after merged Sub-Divisions.

It was notified by Industries, Commerce and Technical Education Department, Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

Mobile Service Delivery Unit Starts Functioning In Metropolis

PESHAWAR: Deputy Commissioner Peshawar, Dr Imran Hamid Sheikh formally inaugurated Mobile Service Delivery Unit to facilitate people in receiving information and documentation of domicile, land record and ownership details and other facilities at their doorstep.

The personnel of district administration and officers would be present alongside the mobile unit to provide details with regard to the provision of any of the facilities including provision of stamp paper, transfer of property, tax details for selling of property and arms license.

The unit visited Shaheen Muslim Town and provided domiciles to the applicants. Additional Assistant Commissioner Headquarters, Salahuddin, AAC Inayatullah Khan, Additional Assistant Commissioner, Shahbaz Khattak, representatives of people, patwaris and secretary of village council were present on the occasion.

People expressed jubilation over the provision of such a beneficial facility to them and said earlier they had to visit many times to different offices for obtaining domicile and now they received the domicile near to their homes.

The DC informed that students would be provided domiciles at their respective schools while to facilitate the journalist community the Mobile Unit will also visit Peshawar Press Club.
