PESHAWAR, November 19: The provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has arranged transport facility for faculty members of 14 state-run colleges in the province.

The Chief Minister, Mr Parvez Khattak, provided keys of the hiace coaches to the principals of various colleges of Abbotabad, Dera Ismail Khan, Swabi, Hangu, Chitral, Battagram, Buner, Mardan, Swat, Dir, Peshawar, Bannu and Lakki Marwat districts at a ceremony in the Archives Hall, Peshawar on 18 November.

Five of the educational institutions are for girls and the other nine for boys.

The provincial government, led by the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf, has already announced Education Emergency plan to improve literacy rate and standard of education, although the opposition parties have criticised the government and said the measures taken for education sector so far were not adequate.
