PESHAWAR: The provincial government has announced to initiate a start-up programme to provide interest-free loans to university graduates who have innovative business ideas.
The loan package will range from a Rs500,000 and will range up to Rs3 million.
The decision was taken at a meeting between Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa Senior Minister for Tourism and Youth Affairs Atif Khan and Finance Minister Taimur Saleem Jhagra.
The meeting had also been attended by Finance Secretary Shakeel Qadir, Tourism Secretary Shahid Zaman and officials from the Bank of Khyber.
The loans would enable youth to start their own business and enable them to finance their projects that would benefit the country in the long run.
