PESHAWAR, 18 March: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sports Department on Friday launched the project for improving the condition of walls of Qayyum Sports Complex and beautification of the whole structure.
KP Minister for Sports and Culture Mehmood Khan inaugurated the project. Deputy Secretary Sports Adil Safi said Rs14 million have been allocated for the project. He said the beautification work at the stadium will be completed by 30 June. He said the projects include establishment special sitting places, cafeteria, walking track and few other things.
Mr Safi said karate, athletics, snooker, martial arts, taekwondo, wushu, wrestling and boxing academies will also be established at Qayyum Sports Complex by 27 December.
