PESHAWAR, 09 May: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has decided to hold the upcoming local government elections under the supervision of Army and Frontier Corps.

According to the provincial government’s election plan, 76,000 security personnel would be deployed at 11,000 polling stations across the province. Over 2,000 of them have been declared most sensitive while another 3,950 polling stations have been listed as sensitive. Provincial government has also sent the security plan to the federal government.
