PESHAWAR, 13 November: Mullah Mansoor Dadullah, an important commander of the Taliban’s Mullah Rasool group which opposes the main Mullah Akhtar Mansour group, has been killed in clashes between rival Taliban factions in Zabul province of Afghanistan.

Zabul deputy police chief Ghulam Jilani Farahi said Mullah Dadullah was killed in a clash with the rival Taliban militants in Khak-e-Afghan district on Thursday night. However, Dadullah’s death could not be confirmed from independent sources and his group has not confirmed his death so far.

Some reports quoting a Taliban commander from Zabul said Dadullah was killed by his own guard who was a spy of Mullah Akhtar Mansour.

Fierce clashes were still continuing between two rival Taliban groups in southern Afghanistan.
