QUETTA, 30 May: Death toll of the Mastung carnage soared to 23 as three others succumbed to bullet injuries today.
The heirs of the slain passengers held protest demonstration along with the bodies of the deceased outside the official residences of Balochistan chief minister and governor in Red-Zone area.
They demanded immediate action against the culprits behind the gory incident of killing innocent people in Mastung district. They also asked the government to call an all-party conference on the issue.
Meanwhile, Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Malik Baloch announced three-day mourning in the province yesterday besides he also called an APC, which will also be attended by Prime Minister Mian Nawaz Sharif.
On the other hand, the Frontier Corps has claimed killing five militants during a search operation in Mastung district, in which 200 security personnel took part.
