KARACHI: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazal chief Maulana Fazlur Rahman on Saturday declared attack on Chinese Consulate failure of the security and intelligence agencies.

Talking to reporters in Kandkot city of Sindh, JUI-F chief condemned the attack and questioned vigilance of the security agencies.

He said that Islamic laws had formulated rules 1400 years to protect diplomates from any harm and said that such security failure has badly dented image of the country.

He said that religio-political parties would never stay silent over blasphemy issue and warned that arrest of its leaders would not help the government resolve issues.

JUI-F chief came down hard upon the government and said Imran Khan would taunt Nawaz Sharif as friend of Modi but he was opening trade routes with India.
