NOWSHERA: Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Sami head Maualan Samiul Haq advised Prime Minister Imran Khan to expedite work on granting nationalities to Afghan and Bengali refugees.

The JUI-S chief also informed the PM about problems being faced by Afghans while getting visa to enter Pakistan and urged him to facilitate them. PM Imran Khan tasked Speaker National Assembly to look into the matter and facilitate Afghans in this regard.

Maulana Sami met Prime Minister Imran Khan in Islamabad on Friday and warn him against chaos if the government tried to amend Blasphemy law.

The PM assured the JUI-F chief that the government has never decided any changes to the law, adding that false rumours were being spread by anti-PTI elements to malign its image.

JUI-F chief also apprised the prime minister of rising price hike and urged him to take steps control it as soon as possible.

They also stressed on improving bilateral tied with Afghanistan and said that friendly relationship was in best interest of the region.
