PESHAWAR, 06 May: The Meteorology Department has forecast another windstorm coupled with downpour in parts of Khyber Pakhunkhwa during the next couple of weeks.

The Provincial Disaster Management Authority (PDMA) has also warned that the weather would remain uncertain during the next two weeks. The PDMA has issued alerts to all the departments concerned to take necessary measure to cope with any untoward situation besides directing them to cancel the leaves of the rescue staff.

It merits mentioning here that windstorm and heavy rains hit Peshawar, Nowshera and Charsadda districts on 26th April, killing 50 people.
