PESHAWAR, 10 November: The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Tuesday claimed to have arrested an alleged militant with a head-money of Rs 0.5million, said a press release.

It said the accused Bakht Jamal, a resident of Khyber Agency was arrested from Mattani, once a stronghold of militants. The accused was wanted to police in a number of cases including an attack on police party in 2009, which resulted in the injured of a number of security personnel.  According to the preliminary investigation, the accused is a member of a proscribed militant group and has been shifted to an undisclosed location for further investigations.
