PESHAWAR: Fast bowler Mohammad Abbas will miss the third Test against New Zealand due to a shoulder injury.
Mohammad Abbas suffered an injury during fielding in the second Test after which doctors advised him to take rest. However, he is expected to recover ahead of the upcoming Test series against South Africa.
Sources said 19-year-old Shaheen Shah Afridi is likely to get debut in the third match of the series which will begin in Abu Dhabi on Monday.
The three-match Test series is currently levelled 1-1. Pakistan has already announced unchanged Test squad for the third Test.
