PESHAWAR, 09 June: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has arrested two people allegedly involved in looting public by impersonating them as NAB officers.
According to NAB Khyber Pakhtunkhwa assistant director Salma, the two accused Nihar Ali and Samiullah used to summon people to their office and demand money from them.
Salma informed that the accused were involved in the business since long and they had allegedly deceived a number of people, adding they were arrested on a secret information on Thursday in Peshawar.
Both the accused were produced before the accountability court judge. NAB investigation office requested physical custody of the accused for further investigation. The presiding officer accepted the request and remanded the accused in NAB’s custody for 11 days.
