QUETTA, 16 September: A seminar held here on Wednesday discussed the role of students to put a permanent damper on corrupt practices in the country.

The moot, organized by National Accountability Bureau (NAB), was participated by people from different walks of life. Prominent among them were commander of the Southern Command, Lt-Gen Nasir Janjua, teachers and studetns. Launching ceremony of a book containing the articles of students on corruption was also held on the occasion.

Addressing the seminar, commander of the Southern Command stressed the teachers to encourage the students to question their parents about their involvement in corruption.

Talking to TNN, a female teacher said: “[The book on corruption] is a good effort because we cannot find information on corruption in a compiled form. It is the first initiative of students. When they will enter practical life, they would proudly refer to this book.”
