LAHORE, 12 August: The former prime minister Nawaz Sharif’s homecoming rally reached Lahore from Islamabad on its fifth day.
Preparations were completed at the venue set-up at Daata Darbar for the disqualified prime minister to address party workers and supporters.
Addressing party workers in Muridke where he stopped on the final leg of his journey to Lahore, Nawaz Sharif said that he was ousted for eliminating loadshedding, improving country economy and setting up factories and industries.
“This is a joke. Pakistanis reject this decision. I will see to it that your vote is respected. PML-N will see to it,” he said while rejecting the apex court decision of his disqualification.
He claimed that the verdict of disqualification brought a bad name to the country.
He asked supporters that there is need of a revolution and get ready for a revolution.
