TIMERGARA: The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan said on Friday that a nation cannot develop without developing its human resources.
Addressing a massive public gathering in Lower Dir, the PTI chief said poor taxpayers in Pakistan are getting poorer, while the rulers and their children have become billionaires. He said after 22 years of the PTI’s political struggle, now the country is asking these rulers about the source of their income. Imran Khan said corruption is the biggest problem of Pakistan which should be cured.
The PTI chief took swipe at the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) for forging an electoral alliance with the Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) which have the one point agenda of clinging to power. He said the JI is now supporting Shahbaz Sharif in Swat which is beyond comprehension. He said it was the JI chief Sirajul Haq who along with him moved the Supreme Court of Pakistan against Nawaz Sharif in the Panama case.
Imran claimed that only the PTI has the courage to face the masses due to its work in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police, health, education and other sectors, while the PPP and PML-N are hiding from masses. He mockingly said Shahbaz Sharif was hiding in his room when rain played havoc in Lahore. He claimed that the massive response from the people is evidence of the PTI’s popularity.
He said the JUI-F chief for the first time will not be part of the government if the PTI won the elections.
