QUETTA, 16 February: The nurses in Quetta have ended their strike and protest which was continuing for the last four days after successful negotiations with the provincial health minister.

After negotiations with nurses, who were staging a sit-in at Civil Hospital Quetta, Balochistan Health Minister Rehmat Baloch told media on Wednesday that the provincial government was considering the demands of nurses and now a notification will be issued to resolve their issues.

The nurses expressed happiness over acceptance of their demands and announced ending their strike. The Civil Hospital medical superintendent and health department officials were also present during negotiations with the protesting nurses.
