JAMRUD, August 5: Officials of the Khyber Agency Education Department held a meeting at the Government High School No 2 in Jamrud tehsil to discuss improvements in the schooling in the agency.
About 50 principals and head masters of Agency Higher Secondary and Middle Schools attended the meeting, chaired by the Agency Education Officer, Mr Ateequr Rehman.
Mr Ateequr Rehman told the meeting that children would be taught as per syllabi in all schools. Three examinations would be conducted in all the schools while every school would submit a monthly report about Bazm-e-Adab (extra-curricular) activities of their schools to the department.
The official told TNN, “We called all the principals and headmasters of Khyber Agency and made an activity plan, according to which we will observe activities and progress of the schools, such as Bazm-e-Adab, and will take action against the teachers not performing their duties properly.”
