PESHAWAR, 27 November: A two-day painting exhibition has started at Khana-e-Farhang, Iranian Culture Centre, in Peshawar.

Member Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Zareen Zia inaugurated the exhibition on Saturday where more than a hundred paintings were put on display. The paintings put light on the cultural and traditional aspects of KP which attracted a lot of visitors, including women and children. The paintings of Quaid-e-Azam, General Raheel Sharif and Sharbat Gula gained lot of attention of the visitors.

Zareen Zia said on the occasion that such activities will promote positive image of KP. He said the KP government is committed to promote cultural activities in the province.

“The provincial government is taking a number of steps for promoting cultural activities in KP. Our youth have exceptional talent which needs to be polished,” he said.
