LAKKI MARWAT, 15 November: Lance Naik Muhammad Haleem of the Pakistan Army who embraced martyrdom in the unprovoked firing of Indian troops on the Line of Control along with six other soldiers, was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard with full military honor here in Kotka Badshah Gul area on Tuesday.

The martyred soldier coffin was wrapped in national flag. Earlier his funeral prayer was offered in which officials of the Pakistan Army, relatives of the fallen soldier and large number of people from different walks of life participated.

According to family sources of the martyred solder, Muhammad Haleem left a widow and a daughter. His father Hasham Khan said he is proud of his son as he laid down life for the country.

As many as seven Pak army soldiers were killed in unprovoked firing by Indian troops in Bhimber sector across the Line of Control (LoC) on Sunday night.
