Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar--A file photo

PESHAWAR, April 20: Federal Minister for Finance Ishaq Dar has said that Islamabad’s decision to stay neutral in Saudi-Yemen conflict would not have any adverse effects on Pakistani expats working in Gulf.

Talking to media in Washington on Sunday, he said that some of the Arab countries misunderstood the resolution of Pakistani Parliament. We later informed our Arab friends that we would prefer to play a role to resolve the Yemen issue through talks.

Some media reports suggested that Islamabad decision not to go hand in hand with Saudi Arab in its war against Yemen may put in peril the Pakistanis working Gulf countries.
