PESHAWAR, 19 June: Pakistan seem to lose control over the Galle test match as its five players bowled out, scoring only 118 on the third day of the first test match against Sri Lanka’s 300 today.
In first inning, opener Silva scored 125 runs, followed by Sangakara with 50 runs. Wahab Riaz and Zulfiqar Babar took three wickets each while Yasir Shah and Muhammad Hafeez removed two Sri Lankan players.
Pakistan’s reply to Sri Lanka’s 300 runs was not impressive as it lost first three wickets on 35 runs. Younis Khan and Misbahul Haq struggled to wriggle the team out of the crisis however Younis could score 47 and Misbah 20. Third day of the match, like first two days, was also affected by the rain and ended before time.
