PESHAWAR, 8 December: Pakistan-A defeated England Lions in the first match of the five-match T-20 series in Dubai on Monday.

England Lions batted first and scored 145 runs for the loss of six wickets. Dawid Malan contributed 51 off 44 deliveries to become the highest run scorer in the Lions’ innings.

Pakistan-A led by Junaid Khan surpassed the total in 19th over with seven wickets to spare. Iftikhar Ahmed scored 66 runs, while Babar Azam made 53.

The second match of the series will be played in Dubai on Thursday.
