PESHAWAR, 7 May: After a good performance by the batsmen, the Pakistani bowlers also showed excellent performance on the second day of the second Test match against Bangladesh in Dhaka.
At the close of the play today, Bangladesh’s five batsmen were out on 107 after Pakistan declared their innings on 557 for the loss of eight wickets. Yasir Shah and Junaid Khan took two wickets each, while Wahab Riaz took one wicket.
Earlier, Azhar Ali scored 224, Younis Khan made 148 and Asad Shafiq scored 107 runs for Pakistan.
Bangladesh still need 250 runs to avoid follow-on with five wickets in hand.
The first Test ended in a draw in Khulna last week.
