PESHAWAR, 01 December: Following a whitewash against England in T20 series, Pakistan dropped down to No. 6 from its earlier No. 2 position in the ICC rankings.
The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Tuesday released new rankings of T20 cricket. According to it, Sri Lanka is on the top of the ladder followed by West Indies on second position and Australia on third. England grabbed the fourth position in the rankings while South Africa is on fifth position.
Meanwhile, T20 captain Shahid Afridi’s position in the bowlers list has improved two spots and now he stands at number six. He also grabbed second position in the all-rounder category.
However, there is no Pakistani batsman in the top-ten in batting category.
