PESHAWAR, 19 June: Pakistan have climbed to sixth spot in the Intentional Cricket Council (ICC) ODI rankings after victory against India in the final of Champions Trophy.
After strengthening their position in the rankings, Pakistan have now better chances of direct qualification into the World Cup. Pakistan now have 96 points, while the seventh placed Bangladesh have 94 points and eighth placed Sir Lanka have 93 points.
South Africa are still on top of the rankings with 119 points, Australia are second with 117 points, India are placed third, England are fourth and New Zealand are placed on fifth place.
Indian captain Virat Kohli is on top of ODI players rankings, while Australia’s Hazlewood is on top in ODI bowlers rankings.
