PESHAWAR, 8 May: Pakistan and Maldives have pledged to promote mutual cooperation in the fields of health, education, sports and combating drug trafficking.

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Maldives President Yameen Abdul Gayoom after a meeting at the Prime Minister House yesterday witnessed the signing of Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) on cooperation in health, education, sports and combating drug trafficking.

Guard of honour was also presented to the president of Maldives on his arrival at the Prime Minister House.
