PESHAWAR, 7 October: The Pakistan Army has strongly rejected accusations from some quarters in Afghanistan regarding involvement of Pakistani security officials in Kunduz attack.
The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said on Tuesday that such statements by some Afghan officials are totally baseless and unfounded. It said Pakistan has already condemned the Kunduz attack and called for Afghan-led and Afghan-owned dialogue process. The ISPR said such accusations depict irresponsible behaviour and divert attention from the actual threat.
The strategic Kunduz city in Afghanistan was captured by the Taliban militants few days ago which raised question marks over capability of the Afghan security forces after departure of most of the NATO troops.
