PESHAWAR, May 29: The Pakistani government has decided to send students to the international information technology competition to be held in America.
According to the federal ministry of IT, the competitions will be held after two months and that six best students of the country would be selected for the purpose.
Engineer Rukhsana Zuberi, an educationist of the information technology sector, told journalists at the Peshawar Press Club that they had also started preparations for the upcoming IT competition and for this purpose they are registering the students between the age group of 13 to 22 years.
She said the students would be trained for the competitions and that their selection would be made after 15 June on the basis of an online test.
Rukhsana Zuberi said, “It is an international competition related to information technology, in which competitions would be about Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point. We will train the students for this competition. Hopefully our students will bring prizes.”
