PESHAWAR, 25 May: Pakistan have won the T-20 series against Zimbabwe 2-0 after defeating them in the second match of the series by two wickets at Gaddafi Cricket Stadium in Lahore.
After winning the toss, Zimbabwe batted first and scored 175 runs with the loss of three wickets. Pakistan surpassed the target in the final over of their innings with the loss of eight wickets. Mukhtar Ahmed scored 62 runs from Pakistan and was named man of the match and man of the series.
The first match of the one-day series will be played at Gaddafi Cricket Stadium tomorrow.
It will be the first one-day series in Pakistan after a militant attack on the Sri Lankan cricket team in Lahore in 2009.
Pakistan have included Shoaib Malik, Anwar Ali and Muhammad Sami in the one-day squad against Zimbabwe.
