PESHAWAR, November 10: Pakistani team has scored 269 runs in the first innings against New Zealand in the Abu Dhabi test while one of its players has got out.

The Pakistani openers broke the 24-year record of the national team by making 178 runs. Previously the record was of 172 runs.

On the first day, the opener Mr Hafiz got out by 96 runs, while Mr Ahmad Shahzad and Mr Azhar Ali were on the crease with 126 and 46 runs, respectively, till filing of this report.
