PESHAWAR, November 12: Pakistan has strengthened its position against New Zealand in the first test match being played in Abu Dhabi. The national team scored 319 runs in the second innings on the third day.
In the first innings, Pakistan scored 566 runs while the New Zealand team got out by 262 runs. Thus Pakistan got a lead of 304 runs.
Pakistani player Mr Rahat Ali took four wickets and Mr Zulfiqar Babar took three wickets. Pakistan scored 15 runs at the end of third day.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board, opener Mr Ahmed Shahzad has been expelled from the Test and T20 series after he was hit by a ball in the head.
