PESHAWAR, 06 December: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has sought reply from the Indian cricket authorities regarding the holding of series in Sri Lanka by Monday. PCB chairman Shahryar Ahmad Khan said if they did not get a reply from the BCCI by Monday, the series between Pakistan and India in Sri Lanka would be deemed as cancelled.

Shahryar said hopes were created of the revival of cricket series after the meeting between Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and Narendra Modi in Paris but “it is unfortunate the Indian government did not show any response in this regard so far”.

The Pakistani government has already granted permission to PCB for holding cricket series with India on neutral ground but the Indian government has been delaying the issue for so many days.
