PESHAWAR, 3 December: The Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) has approved 30 development projects in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa which will be completed with the cost of Rs23 billion.

The meeting of PDWP headed by Additional Chief Secretary Azam Khan was held in Peshawar on Friday. According to the Information Department, projects in the education sector include strengthening of Planning Cell, new schools in Dir, Mardan, Lakki Marwat, Karak and Swat and renovation of 200 schools.

The meeting also approved Rs1 billion tele-agriculture project for farmers. Under the project, free advices will be given to farmers on telephone by specialists in agriculture sector. The meeting also approved setting up new tube wells with the cost of Rs600 million.
