MIRANSHAH, May 12: Local people are in trouble due to continuous curfew in the North Waziristan Agency.
TNN correspondent says that due to continued curfew, there was shortage of food items at markets in Mir Ali and Miranshah.
A local journalist of Miranshah, Haji Mujtaba, told TNN, “The patients cannot reach health facilities, nor can they go out of hospitals due to curfew. Moreover, the examinations of FA, FSc were affected by curfew in North Waziristan.”
He added that the paper of Islamiat of first year and paper of Chemistry of second year were cancelled on Saturday. “All those people who have gone from Miranshah to Bannu and the patients who have reached to Peshawar or Bannu hospitals cannot return to their area,” he added.
Four days ago, a bomb explosion on a security forces convoy left 10 FC personnel dead in Ghulam Khan area of North Waziristan and the security forces imposed curfew thereafter.
