ABBOTTABAD, 21 December: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Pervaiz Khattak on Sunday inaugurated construction work on the two-way Abbottabad-Murree Road in Abbottabad.
The chief minister, who was the chief gest and the inauguration ceremony, said on the occasion that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will fulfil all its electoral pledges with the masses. On the occasion CM’s Adviser on Information Mushtaq Ghani informed Mr Khattak about local problems.
The chief minister also announced Rs1 billion for repair of Havelian Road, Rs50 million for graveyard in Abbottabad and Rs5 million for Abbottabad Press Club. He also announced construction of Dhamtori football ground. He said the deficiency of 14,000 rooms and 40,000 teachers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will be removed soon. He said Rs5 billion would be spent on improving the condition of hospitals.
