PESHAWAR, 20 June: Peshawar Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) has announced results of the matriculation examination today.

Faraz and Waheed of the Forward Model School, Hayatabad, clinched first position, while Muhammad Saeed and Intikhab Alam of the Frontier Children Academy, got second and third positions, respectively.

In Arts Group, Manahil and Ayesha Waheed of the Government Centennial Model School Cantt got first and second positions, respectively. Nimra Bibi of the Basheerabad Government Girls School stood third. The percentage of the passed candidates is 97.

The position-holders appeared to be very happy over the results. “I am so happy. I got 1,040 marks and stood first in the board. It is because of my parents’ prayers and my teachers’ hard work. I got first position in Arts Group and my parents have a great role in this. They always encouraged me. I am happy that my two-year hard work paid me dividends and I achieved what I was struggling for,” a position-holder said.
