PESHAWAR, May 3: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education in the provincial capital Peshawar has decided to take action against unregistered private schools.

In a statement, the Board authorities have also asked the parents to first know about the registration of the school in which they wish to admit their children.

Chairing a meeting on 2 May, the board chairman Dr Shafi issued directives to the owners of private schools to register their institutions with the board.

The statement also asked the parents to complain to the board against those schools, which were not offering fee concessions to one of the two siblings enrolled at the same school.
