PESHAWAR, 19 March: The Peshawar High Court has reinstated 796 suspended wardens of the central prison in the provincial capital and set aside the orders of provincial government.
The wardens were dismissed last month by the provincial government over allegations of unfair recruitment process.
A two-member bench today opened the case and issued the orders for reinstatement of the employees.
The provincial government led by the Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf claims it is bringing a positive change in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Some leaders of the party said the dismissal of employees was right and that they wanted to recruit employee on merit.
